Despite the heavily computerized history of Cybertron, there are many mysteries to be delved into under the shell of its surface and more populated underworld.  Historitron was happy going into those long-forgotten areas and trying to find out where the Cybertronians originally came from.  However, the war put a quick end to his endeavours, as he was called to the aid of his former student and fellow scientist, Starscream.

Working as a low-level sensor operator for the Decepticons despite his many academic successes, he was left on Cybertron by Megatron and forced to work under Shockwave.  Denied his many wished pursuits for the sycophantic bot, he jumped at the chance to go to Earth and work once more under Starscream, even in a military capacity.  On Earth, however, he found a wealth of work that could be done, and he often sneaks off to some remote area to look deep into the history of the relatively primitive, but interesting, humans.

Advantages:  A high-capacity and ranged sensor suite gives Historitron a range of options for scanning the area and transmitting his findings to his Decepticon allies.
Disadvantages:  His love of Human history often overwhelms him, and confuses his allies.  Even his old friend Starscream.
